It’s So Important to know Your Body Mass (BMI) Index!

 Your body mass index (BMI) is a very useful measure of overweight and obesity.


It is calculated from your height and weight. BMI is an estimate of body fat and a good gauge of your risk for diseases that can occur with more body fat.

The higher your BMI, the higher your risk for certain diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, gallstones, breathing problems, and certain cancers.

Although BMI can be used for most men and women, it does have some limits, in that it may overestimate body fat in people with a muscular build and it may underestimate body fat in older people who have lost muscle.

How to lose weight with AgeForce

Any exercise must elevate your standing heart rate for a minimum of 30-minutes, 3 or 4 days a week. The good news for those of you that don’t like to exercise is that there are so many easy ways to do that. Just go for a “brisk” walk. Swimming, jogging, or bike riding are all good exercise options. If you love to workout in the gym or play a sport that will get your heart rate elevated, go for it!

3.
